I had the absolute pleasure of photographing this new family of three, with baby O'Shea being the main star, at their home in Thurrock. O'Shea was only seven weeks old when I visited them and what a lovely and gorgeous boy he was! He was incredibly well natured, chilled and very curious about the camera.
I am always so happy when I can just capture the sweet tender moments between the parents and their newborn baby. Whether it's them cuddling the baby to comfort them, feeding them, changing their nappy or just simply staring at them with awe and love. And let's be honest, first time parents always have this indescribable look of love and wonder in their eyes, when they look at their newborn baby. Everything is new and fresh, and every little sound or funny grimace that their baby makes is heart-warming. And that's why I love to preserve this very special stage in their lives in a few photographs that I know they will cherish forever.
We are so pleased with the photos Alina took of our interactions with our little one. Her documentary style really captured the dynamics of our family which we were hoping for.
